I believe a leader is a person of influence and that is what I aspire to do every day. I have worked to inspire athletes, musicians and students to excellence over a 30 year career. As a dropout prevention coordinator, I led a team to lower the dropout rate in a Native American high school to 3% and increase the attendance rate by more than 10%.
I grew up in New Jersey and spent a majority of my time as a student athlete and musician. I traveled west on a clarinet scholarship to the University of Arizona and completed my Bachelors of Music Education summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ)
I coached a state volleyball team, a state championship softball team and directed a perennial award winning marching and concert band program. In 2005 I led an Indoor Percussion program to a National Championship. I developed and instructed a service-oriented leadership program for middle school and high school students called "Creating Positive Action" (Leadership CPA's).
In addition to my education career, I am a Life Coach (Coaches Institute in Denver). I started my own business to lead others to their own vision of success. I developed a team building workshop for adults, Rapport Workshop for educators and a consulting program to support schools trying to lower their dropout rate and build rapport and relationships within their schools.
Newest news: I was honored this Spring to team up with network marketing guru and success coach Jack Zufelt. I am a contributing author in Jack's new book, The DNA of Success Stories, writing the chapter "Embrace the Journey". You can buy a copy on this website - 20 great chapters!
